Trip wire detection in total darkness

DFD Laser

The DFD laser is a green or infrared laser line generator to illuminate and fluorescently light Trip Wires and/or Command Wires made of various materials including monofilament (fishing line) and thread, even placed at various elevations and depths depending on the entry route of the bomb technician.

SOLUTION

Trip Wires Detection

The DFD laser is an extremely effective tool and method for the detection of trip lines and hazards of all varieties. With minimal training and experience, the operator will have confidence that they can safely clear a variety of areas of trip line hazards. The DFD laser emits a laser line that EOD technicians use to detect Trip Wires. Easily scan doorways, halls or stairwells with one pass. The DFD laser is a rugged and resistant device.

Portable, rugged & adaptable. Field tested and deployed in combat zones since 2017. In use by operational forces in operational theatres.

SOLUTION

Trip Wires Management

We designed with our customers a solution for the management of tripwires once detected. The Garclem kit has been designed to allow neutralization and avoid bypass or avoidance.

Garclem in operation

Garclem kit

The Garclem kit was developed in close collaboration with tactical EOD teams to meet a precise operational need and is an integral part of their equipment. It is the first system to neutralize Trip Wires and/or Command Wires.
